Complete Restoration Performed by British Cycle Repair
Installed and reseated new valves and guides

Glass beaded the heads and rocker cover

Re-bored the cylinders with new pistons

 Glass beaded and painted

 Re-ground the crank

 Installed new wrist pin bushings

Cleaned the slag trap (enough dirt in there to
kill 10 engines!)

 Installed new plug

Replaced connecting rod bolts and nuts

Installed new high volume oil pump and PSI
relief valve

 Polished all aluminum

 Sand blasted all paintable parts

Epoxy primed and painted appropriate colours
with clear coat

 Repaired some wiring issues

Re-chromed fenders and other rusted parts

No cadmium plated hardware available, so
instead ground the stamp off the bolt heads and
glass beaded them and used stainless. They
look just like cadmium plated and won't rust.

Glass beaded the steel bolts and washers and
painted them.

The final touch was having the exhaust pipes
ceramic coated to prevent them from turning
blue with the heat.

A very satisfied customer.
